Is there or is it possible to get a bit (in similar fashion as the cycle start/offline bits in plugin) reset/estop mach and put a message on the screen?

You can configure a Mach3 OEM Trig input as a KFLOP IO.
Then under Config | System HotKeys | External Buttons assign the OEM code 1021 (RESET) to the
Input.
